Lionel's Mega Tracks Races to the Top of Holiday Toy Lists

CONCORD, N.C., Nov. 22, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Lionel, the iconic model train company, today announced that its revolutionary new product, Mega Tracks, has received numerous top awards this holiday season from toy and parenting industry experts, testing organizations and retailers.  Mega Tracks, which just became available this fall, exemplifies the evolution of Lionel and how it is expanding beyond model trains and reinventing rail play.

Unlike traditional train sets, Mega Tracks is a flexible track system where kids can use their imagination to design and build their own race courses, over and over again.  Using clamps and construction pieces, kids can build layouts virtually anywhere, including on the floor or attaching to furniture.  Kids are also able to create their own stunts by twisting the track. Once the layout and stunts are built, a handheld RC controller can be used to send the Mega Tracks vehicle into high speed action.
