LIPATH Appoints Experienced Principals to Lead Expansion Efforts and Continue the Company's Commitment to Excellence

EAST SETAUKET, N.Y., Aug. 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- LIPATH, a physician-led diagnostic pathology laboratory servicing Long Island and the tri-state area, today announced the appointment of Thomas DiBernardo, Brian Gluck and Roger McConville as principals, creating a proven leadership team that will drive momentum and execute on the company's expansion efforts providing customers with a full-service, concierge clinical and anatomic pathology laboratory.

About the Principals

Thomas DiBernardo brings nearly 30 years of experience in the diagnostic laboratory industry and has held numerous positions in sales, operations and management. Throughout his decades of experience, DiBernardo focused efforts on designing and effectively training sales teams to achieve notable success and has been a top ranked sales professional at leading healthcare companies including, Sonic Healthcare, LabCorp and MetPath. DiBernardo is a past president of the Long Island Society of Nuclear Medicine Technologists and holds a B.S. in Medical Biology and Nuclear Medicine from C.W. Post University.

Brian Gluck joins LIPATH with more than 30 years of operations and customer relationship experience. He has been a leading sales executive throughout his career. Gluck began his career with Universal Diagnostic Laboratories and also held positions with Sonic Healthcare. He holds a B.A. in Accounting from Brooklyn College.

Roger McConville joins LIPATH as a recognized leader in diagnostic laboratory sales. Throughout his 13 year career he was a top performer at Sonic Healthcare. He holds a B.A. in Marketing from Sydney University in Australia.
