Charles R. Lipcon, Founding Partner of LMAW, celebrated a milestone achievement with a nautical themed fete, hosted by FP Journe.
MIAMI, March 6, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Lipcon, Margulies, Alsina & Winkleman, P.A. (LMAW) held a nautical themed fete at Maison FP Journe, Miami, to honor maritime attorney Charles R. Lipcon's, 2020 ranking as "Lawyer of the Year" in Admiralty & Maritime Law by U.S. News & World Report.
Over 100 of Lipcon's friends, family, colleagues, and co-workers gathered in Miami to celebrate this milestone achievement over a bottle of 1847 Chateau Lafit Rothchild. Kevin O'Leary from Shark Tank, Pierre Halimi president of FP Journe North America and inventor Francois Paul Journe were all in attendance.
The nautical theme is a playful nod to Lipcon's 40+ years of work in maritime law. Lipcon has dedicated his career to helping passengers and crew injured on cruise ships and has prevailed in numerous cases that shaped modern maritime law.
The event coincided with Leap Day, which has special significance to the host, Francois Paul Journe.
