Liquid at the Shore is free and everyone in New Jersey is welcome, but registration is required via http://lqd.ch/shore. Thousands from Liquid's campuses in Morristown, Mountainside, New Brunswick and Nutley are expected to attend this historic service.
"Liquid at the Shore is an open-invitation event. After this winter, we simply think everyone in New Jersey deserves a refreshing day at the beach to kick-off summer," said Tim Lucas, lead pastor and founder of Liquid Church. "In our 8 year history we've hosted services in movie theaters, hotels, schools and we've even rebirthed a 191-year-old church in Mountainside, NJ, but this is our first service at the Jersey Shore."
One of Liquid's core values is that "Church is Fun," which is why a number of surprises are planned for the day, included an appearance by Justin Flom. Currently starring in the SyFy show Wizard Wars and a regular on the Ellen Degeneres Show, Justin will be one highlight of the After-Party.
The day will be capped-off as hundreds take the plunge in the Atlantic Ocean to be baptized. A schedule of the day's events may be found online.
