Liquid Image Announces Xtreme Sport Cams Brand at CEA Line Show

SACRAMENTO, Calif., June 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Liquid Image is announcing the Xtreme Sport Cams (XSC) brand line at the CEA Line Show.

The Liquid Image Xtreme Sport Cams (XSC) brand line is the first line of masks and goggles on the market with a built in digital video camera to capture the fun and action while on the go.  The new line of sporting equipment with integrated electronics take hands free POV videos to a new level.  These Xtreme Sport Cams eliminate the need to mount external cameras onto helmets for capturing videos while skiing, boarding, biking, motocross riding, etc.  The view captured from the XSC goggles will be closer to the users' actual view as opposed to the view captured from a POV camera mounted on the side of a helmet.

By combining a camera into a sports goggle, the result is an aerodynamic and ergonomic product that is easy to use.   Several new models from the Xtreme Sport Cams (XSC) brand line will be on display at the CEA Line Show in NYC June 22nd-23rd including sport cams for Motorcycles, Skiing, MX and Off-Roading, Swimming, Snorkeling, and Scuba Diving.

The XSC brand line is priced to be affordable and ranges from VGA to HD quality with US prices from $99-$350.   Accessories such as high powered LED Torches and color filters are offered for some models at prices ranging from US $49-$89.

Liquid Image has recently developed merchandising displays to showcase the new line as a group of products or for individual display at retail. Displays include mannequin heads with attached video monitors, freestanding racks, and trays that affix to peg mounts for standard Camera Department displays.

In addition to traditional retail and online sales, Liquid Image works with distributors in the US and internationally to place the masks and goggles for rental at resorts, with tour operators and on cruise lines allowing for additional brand exposure and consumer experience with the product lines.

The brand line follows the concept of the original Liquid Image Underwater Digital Camera Mask by creating an easier way to record photos and videos. The concept of integrating the camera into the sports equipment allows the user to travel with fewer items and to keep their hands free while performing sports activities. The cameras record a view similar to what is seen, allowing the user to share their experience with other people, and to enjoy their activities to a greater extent because they concentrate less on holding and operating the camera. All of the cameras in the line feature both a photo and a video mode, with an emphasis on the video feature due to consumer interest in recording videos for online sharing. The cameras have an easy to use two button system. There is a button for On/Off/Mode and another button for the shutter. To record a photo or a video, simply turn on the camera, choose the mode, then press the shutter button.
