LiRo Promotes Michael Mascaro To Vice President

NEW YORK, April 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --  The LiRo Group, a multi-disciplinary design and construction management firm, is pleased to announce that Michael Mascaro has been promoted to Vice President.

In his 16 years with LiRo, Mr. Mascaro has managed construction projects for numerous clients in the areas of higher education, healthcare, correctional facilities, police and fire facilities. He has directed the completion of a wide range of projects including over $200M for the Fire Department of New York (FDNY). One of the more high-profile projects is the recently completed construction of the FDNY Marine 9 Barracks ($20M) that was part of the Stapleton Waterfront redevelopment on Staten Island. Mr. Mascaro is currently responsible for the construction management of the 121st Police Precinct ($60M) on Staten Island, a state-of-the-art facility designed by the renowned architect Rafael Vinoly.

Four of his projects are particularly noteworthy for having been selected for awards. They are: Engine Company 277, Engine Company 259, Rescue Company 3 and EMS Company 27.

Most recently, Mr. Mascaro was instrumental in achieving LiRo's win of the Various Waterfront Properties and Citywide Facilities and Construction Management Services On-Call contracts with NYCEDC. These contracts represent LiRo's expansion into a new and growing service area.
