BRUSSELS, March 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Krzysztof Lisek, Member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament and Vice -Chairman on the sub-committee on security and defence : "I am shocked that now the second critic of Pakistan's archaic and anachronistic blasphemy law has been murdered within months."
Yesterday morning Shabaz Bhatti, Pakistan's Minister for Minorities, was shot dead in his car. Mr. Bhatti was a Christian and, like the Punjabi Governor Salman Taseer, an outspoken advocate of a reform of the contested Pakistani Blasphemy law. Now both have been killed since the beginning of the year.
