How it works
The Livecard Kit contains a multi-channel smart receiver, which works in tandem with a smartcard using NFC (Near Field Communication) technology. The slim, lightweight and intuitive design is capable of delivering live audio in real-time to fans for maximum, live-event impact.
The Livecard wireless platform delivers rich audio content via a discreet, FCC compliant, wireless broadcast system to each Livecard smart receiver with user metrics collected through existing Wi-Fi and carrier networks.
Similar to a hotel key card, the smartcard unlocks the door to a user's available channel at each event. The dedicated computer chip inside each Livecard smart receiver talks to the smartcards when a ticket holder enters a venue. The chip asks the card what channels the ticket holder can listen to. Once the smart receiver has that information it tunes in and decodes those channels then opens them up to the user. All of this happens in a matter of seconds.
With long battery life, excellent sound and strong network signals, consumers will receive the highest quality audio. By adding sound to an otherwise "silent movie" experience, the Livecard ensures real-time audio with no delays, no streaming dropouts, no waiting and no dead batteries!
