LiveSafe CEO Carolyn Parent Named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Mid-Atlantic Finalist

Prior to joining LiveSafe, Carolyn successfully led three startups and as the Executive Vice President and General Manager for Deltek, was instrumental in growing the company to $300 million and launching a successful IPO.

Since joining LiveSafe in November 2015, she's led the company through a successful transition from being purely a college campus safety app to a full-blown commercial enterprise risk intelligence communications platform that is now used by some of the largest, most successful members of the Fortune 1,000.

Carolyn played a pivotal role in achieving a 6X expansion of the company's client base and a 5X growth in total contract value over the past three years. She led the company's most recent $11 million Series B-1 funding extension from new investors, including Dave Duffield (founder and former CEO of PeopleSoft and Workday), Revolution's Rise of the Rest Seed Fund, and GXPI (investment arm of Evergy, Inc.).

And she has since scaled every aspect of the company three-fold, growing the company from just 12 employees to more than 70. Carolyn also led the expansion of LiveSafe's strategic partnerships and integrations with the likes of industry giants Allied Universal, Workday, Securitas and EventBase.
