L&L Energy Appoints Mory Watkins as Director of Corporate Development

SEATTLE, April 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- L & L Energy, Inc. (Nasdaq: LLEN) ("L&L" or the "Company"), a U.S.-based company since 1995 with coal mining and distribution businesses in China, announced today that F. Moore "Mory" Watkins Jr. has joined L&L as its Director of Corporate Development. Mr. Watkins will be responsible for sourcing and executing expansion opportunities for L&L on a global basis.

Mr. Watkins joins L&L most recently from ABSi Corporation, where he oversaw all strategic planning and financial functions as the Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Watkins has held several senior-level corporate and investment banking positions, including Vice President of Sterling Capital, LTD. and most notably Director of Corporate Development at US Office Products, where he developed and executed the company's strategic plan and oversaw the acquisition of more than 165 companies accounting for more than $2 billion in revenue.

Mr. Watkins holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, a bachelor's degree from Washington and Lee University, and a premier degree from the University of Paris-Sorbonne.
