Local Company Joins National Heating and Cooling Brand

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va., April 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Modern Mechanical has joined forces with One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning^®, and will eventually be known by the name One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning.  Local owners Shawn Mitchell and Pete Danileson will maintain a 100% ownership stake in Modern Mechanical.  One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning^® is a national heating and air conditioning brand with independently owned and operated locations throughout North America. It recently ranked #1 in the HVAC services category in Entrepreneur magazine's Franchise 500.

Mitchell has been serving people's heating and cooling needs as long as he can remember. In middle school he would accompany his father, who worked in the industry, on jobs and continued into high school. After he graduated, he joined the National Guard and served in Bosnia and Iraq. After college, he followed his passion and went back to the home services industry. In 2010, Mitchell decided to start his own company in his Ashburn basement. His company was committed to customer service, respecting customers' homes, developing the best employees and serving his community.
