Local Consignment Sale Donates Thousands of Dollars in Cash and Merchandise to Local Charities

GRAPEVINE, Texas, Sept. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Divine Consign, the Metroplex's favorite children's consignment event, is hosting their Grapevine event this coming Sunday, September 26th and Monday, September 27th.  On Sunday, their first day open to the public, they will be collecting a $2 entry fee per person, including children.  Make-A-Wish Foundation® of North Texas will receive all of the entry fee proceeds.

After their sale in Plano in September, Divine Consign donated their entry fees to Make-A-Wish Foundation® of North Texas.  Claire Christensen of the Foundation says, "Divine Consign is a wonderful supporter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of North Texas. Last month they raised $2,234 to help grant a wish for a child in North Texas. We truly appreciate their efforts in raising funds for the Foundation and look forward to continuing our partnership."  Also, due to the fact the donation was made online on Get Up and Give Day, the funds were matched for a total of $4,468.

Divine Consign sellers also donate thousands of dollars in unsold clothing to Denton County Friends of the Family every season.  DCFOF is a wonderful organization that provides support services to women and children in domestic violence or sexual assault situations.

The Divine Consign sale in Grapevine next week will include contributions from over 300 consignors for a total of 36,000 children's and maternity items.  The merchandise will include clothing, baby equipment, toys, books, DVDs and much more for its shoppers.

With an average item price of $5, shoppers experience huge savings on the items they need for their families. The consignors themselves often walk away with all the clothes their kids need for the next season and some cash in their pocket.
