Local Manufacturer Comfort Option Offering a New Take on Mattress Trials Nationwide
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., Dec. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Indianapolis mattress manufacturer Comfort Option is taking their one of a kind Comfort Commitment nationwide with "Alpha, by Comfort Option." Previously focused on the central Indiana area, Comfort Option has grown in popularity with industry-unique customization options, such as bringing the mattress store experience right to customers' homes, and their exceptional take on a mattress trial, called the 30/90 Comfort Commitment. They are now offering a nationwide service that gives customers the chance to customize and fine-tune their mattress after the purchase if they're initially unsatisfied, instead of simply offering a basic, "like it or not" trial period.
In a competitive online environment, Comfort Option's offering is a first. They've moved away from extended trial periods and, instead, have committed to partnering with customers to individually-tailor their mattresses to their liking; they will reconstruct a mattress as many times as it takes to get it perfectly-suited within a 120-day window. They ask customers to try their initial mattress construction for 30 days, and if they're unhappy at that point, Comfort Option will use the next 90 days to reconfigure the mattress to better meet the customer's needs.
Additionally, the mattress manufacturer is committed to transparency in the foams used in their products, stating openly that the density used in the core of the mattress construction is far more durable than many competitors.
"Most all of the online mattress brands are using core foams between 1.6 and 1.8 pounds per cubic foot. We use a 2.2 pound core, which, in our tests, performed nearly five times better in overall height-loss over time," said Nathan Elliott., Comfort Option's CMO. "In other words, our mattresses are significantly more durable and will maintain their performance for a longer period of time."
Perhaps best of all, Comfort Option is still able to keep their prices lower than the competition, even with the added customization program and higher-quality materials. Their Queen mattress retails at $895, compared to the leading online mattress brand, which retails at $995.
One Facebook reviewer commented, "I wanted to be a 'buy local' person so badly, but I was afraid that I would be getting a poor-quality product compared to other brands. I mean, how could their mattress be the same quality for half the price? Well, it is!"
In an industry notorious for smoke and mirrors, Comfort Option is striving to provide a real solution to mattress shoppers. To learn more, visit www.comfortoption.com.
