'Local Search' Launches the UAE's Ultimate Business Locator to Take you the Last Mile

Doing business often starts with finding a business but the UAE has no single unified addressing system and so finding companies and their physical locations can often be a long and frustrating process. However, wasting valuable time trying to find a company is set to become a thing of the past as Local Search, powered by Informap, introduces a unique virtual addressing system for the UAE called GRL, as part of its online business search service.

We have all experienced the dreaded question on the phone - 'where is your office location?' - followed by frustrating minutes of cross communication and often with no satisfactory result at the end. Now, Local Search has incorporated a unique business locator based on an interactive digital map of the UAE, made available exclusively to Local Search business directory service under an agreement with Informap Productions LLC.

Almost every single building and company registered in the UAE and its freezones has been assigned a unique 6-digit number (GRL - Geo Reference Locator) with the details of areas, streets and building posted names on the most accurate and detailed digital map ever available online for the UAE.
