Local User Experience Chapter Announces Early Bird Registration for 10th Annual World Usability Day at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo - Stillwater Place
The Cleveland Chapter of the User Experience Professionals Association (UXPA) hosts day of User Experience education and training.
CLEVELAND, May 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Cleveland Chapter of the User Experience Professionals Association announced today that early bird registration is now open for the 10th annual World Usability Day. Join the Cleveland Chapter of UXPA as we explore Innovation in Usability at World Usability Day 2015. On November 12, 2015, UXPA CLE will host World Usability Day at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo - Stillwater Place.
This full day event will include informative sessions, a hands-on half day workshop, networking, user experience vendor booths, food, and fun. World Usability Day is celebrated in more than 40 countries around the world. Early Bird pricing will be available to the first 60 registrants only. UXPA Cleveland members can enjoy the full conference, food and fun for $75, $100 for non-members. Concluding the early bird special, full price passes will be available at $110 for UXPA Cleveland members, $130 for non-members. Space is limited and early registration is suggested.
First to join the conference line up is Elizabeth Rosenzweig, co-founder of World Usability Day. Rosenzweig will be leading a half day workshop titled, "Successful User Experience: Strategies and Roadmaps." The workshop will cover how to gather and coordinate project goals with user goals to create a successful UX strategy. The second part of the workshop will cover the process of creating actionable tactics to achieve those project and user goals. Participants will walk away with a clear methodology to create their own UX strategic roadmaps in the future.
UXPA Cleveland is also excited to formally announce the location of World Usability Day at the recently built state-of-the-art Stillwater Place, located within the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. 3900 Wildlife Way Cleveland OH 44109. The elegant 10,000 sq. ft. reception event center is scheduled to open this spring and is situated across from the Zoo's new Circle of Wildlife Carousel with a spectacular view of Waterfowl Lake. As part of the fun, conference attendees will have the opportunity to hear from the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo as well as receive a pass to explore the Zoo and RainForest during a break out networking session.
