Loeffler Randall Partners with Bergen Logistics as Its Order Fulfillment Service Provider
Bergen Logistics announces a new addition to their growing clientele base of fashion designers.
NORTH BERGEN, N.J., Aug. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Loeffler Randall has selected Bergen Logistics as its preferred 3rd party logistics (3PL) provider.
Bergen Logistics provides clients with a cloud-based warehouse management system (WMS) to view real-time status of inbound shipments as goods are being scanned into inventory. Orders are received electronically, with merchandise going through two more scanning points for picking accuracy and inventory tracking. The live updates in WMS provide clients with up-to-date information at their fingertips.
For Loeffler Randall, this is their first fully automated 3PL partnership for their business. As a partner of Loeffler Randall, Amanda Thomas Alexander said in making their decision to choose a 3PL partner, "…we took our time to research the market and find the best 3PL solution for our business. The systems, transparency and efficiency of the Bergen operation were really compelling. I love that WMS allows us to be on top of what's happening in real time without being there." Having only transmitted department store orders via EDI in the past, transmitting all orders electronically will create better visibility for Loeffler Randall as well as generating higher rates of efficiency in the supply chain process.
Ron Roman, founder and president of Bergen Logistics, says "Loeffler Randall is the type of high end designer we attract. Full visibility, quick turnaround time and 100% accuracy while having scalability, are all requirements we meet. We are glad to have gained their business and trust."
About Loeffler Randall
Loeffler Randall was born out of designer Jessie Randall's quest to find the shoes she wanted to wear but could not find – shoes that possessed an understated elegance, were well-made, and undeniably feminine. With this distinct point of view, Loeffler Randall launched in the fall of 2005. In June 2007, Jessie Randall was honored with the prestigious CFDA Swarovski Award for Accessory Design. In 2009, Inc. magazine named Loeffler Randall as one of the 500 fastest growing private companies in America. The magazine also recognized Loeffler Randall as one of the "Elite Inc. 500," which put the brand in the company of past honorees such as Microsoft.
Loeffler Randall's handbags and shoes are found in over 200 fine retailers worldwide, including Barneys, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue and Harvey Nichols. In Fall 2009, Loeffler Randall proudly launched its first retail venture, an e-commerce website, dedicated to selling the full spectrum of Loeffler Randall products and building direct relationships with loyal customers around the world.
