Logistics Specialist iForce to Pioneer Returns Processing in the Netherlands With We-Force BV
iForce is Logistics Supplier of the Year 2013 - The Grocer Gold Awards
LONDON, August 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
iForce, the award winning multichannel and reverse logistics specialist for some of the UK's top retailers including Cath Kidston, John Lewis, Sainsburys and Tesco, has launched its first foray in to Europe with a new venture in Holland. iForce BV will start trading in September and will be focussed on pioneering a returns processing service in the Benelux region. The company will build on its award winning experience for major retailers in the UK to establish an innovative returns service for both new European clients as well as existing UK clients and retailers, as they expand their sales reach further in to Europe.
Based in the central position of Heteren in the Netherlands, iForce BV will be a Dutch joint venture between the company and its new partners, We-Force BV, an experienced refurbishment and technical repairs company.
"We have long had the goal of being recognised as European market leader in what we do and so I am incredibly excited by the launch of iForce BV. Together with our partners at We-Force BV, we will be able to bring our expertise in Returns Processing to the expanding market of Europe and establish a platform for growth. In launching the new company, we look forward to offering a level of service and knowhow that will be new to the Dutch marketplace, bringing great benefits to clients there, whilst simultaneously allowing us to expand our geographical coverage to our existing long term clients," said Mark Hewitt, CEO iForce.
Aswin Eshuis, We-Force BV, said: "This is an exciting opportunity to implement a new way of dealing with the increasing issues associated with customer returns and provide a solution that looks to maximise asset recovery for retailers, reducing the impact returns have on their working capital.
"There are still many e-tailers who fall outside of current Returns processing legislation. In 2011 nine out of ten e-tailers were not making the necessary checks before selling on Returns, and this is where iForce BV will offer the edge. iForce follows the WEEE directive in the UK and this will help to transform the efficiency and reputation of Returns processing in the Netherlands."
