Teplitsky will collaborate closely with senior vice president Carol Hanko to lead LP&P's Austin operations, and will also be focused on providing client strategy and new business initiatives.

Teplitsky joins LP&P with a unique global perspective acquired during his 20 years of experience leading PR and marketing strategies in the technology sector. His expertise spans the gamut of the high-tech industry, including telecommunications and enterprise networking, mobility and wireless, software, applications and service delivery platforms, network security, e-commerce, consumer electronics, and science/bio research and development. Prior to joining LP&P, he held executive positions with international responsibilities at several technology corporations, including Alcatel-Lucent and Bell Labs, Enterasys Networks (formerly Cabletron Systems), Monster.com, Data Translation and GAINCapital/FOREX.com.
Teplitsky currently serves as the Technology Section Chair for the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and contributes analysis and counsel on a variety of industry developments, public policy and other topics that are pertinent to the organization's leadership and membership. He is also a member of the PRSA's Counselors Academy, and is a frequent blogger and presenter on the business, social and PR impact of new media and technology.
In addition to being an active participant in the PR profession, Teplitsky also donates his time to higher education and charitable causes. He is a contributor and member of Corporate Communication International at Baruch College, and is a former member of the curriculum advisory board for Temple University's Strategic and Organizational Communications department. He currently serves on the board of directors of Child Advocates of San Antonio (CASA).
Teplitsky has an MBA in corporate communications from the Silberman College of Business at Fairleigh Dickinson University and a B.A. in communications from Temple University.
