London's Freddie Grubb Release the Fleet DB Silver Edition Road Bike
LONDON, August 4, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --
Freddie Grubb draws on it's sporting heritage to release a limited edition bike to coincide with the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
London bicycle brand Freddie Grubb (affectionately named after the British cyclist Frederick H. Grubb) are releasing a limited edition bicycle to coincide with this year's Olympic Games in Brazil. The all-silver road bike has been produced to commemorate the late great Mr. Grubb who won two silver medals in the 1912 Stockholm Olympics.
"Frederick Grubb was a maverick pioneer of British cycling and besides naming our brand after him, we wanted to celebrate his Olympic achievements by building a limited edition bike to commemorate his silver medals at the 1912 Olympic games. We've taken our core Fleet model and redesigned it from the ground up, enhancing the performance with upgraded components and selecting a silver paint finish with a few choice black elements to give the bike it's distinctive aesthetic " Co founder, Jack Pattison
