Lone Star Document Management Signs Sixteenth License Agreement for Electronic Document Proofing System

DALLAS, Oct. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Lone Star Document Management, LLC announced today that it has signed a license agreement for its patent, U.S. Patent No. 6,918,082, entitled "Electronic Document Proofing System," with Case Central, Inc., bringing the total number of companies that have licensed the '082 Patent to 16.

As a result of its latest license agreement, Lone Star has settled all of its claims for patent infringement against Case Central in Civil Action No. 6:12-cv-160, Lone Star Document Management, LLC, v. Case Central, Inc., filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Tyler Division.

The sixteen companies that have licensed Lone Star's '082 Patent to date include: Motive Systems; ITAZ Technologies; Intelledox, Inc.; Alfresco Software; Adlib Publishing Systems Inc.; Hyland Software, Inc.; Paperhost.com, Inc.; VIZit Software, Inc.; Appligent DSI, LLC; Atalasoft, Inc.; Trial Solutions of Texas, LLC; Lexbe, LC; Gallivan, Gallivan & O'Melia, LLC; CAP Digisoft, Inc.; Digital Reef, Inc.; and Case Central, Inc.

Presently, Lone Star has only two lawsuits to enforce the '082 Patent still pending: one against Catalyst Repository Systems, Inc., in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Tyler Division, and another against Compulink Management Center, Inc., in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Marshall Division. On September 11, 2012, Judge Rodney Gilstrap denied Compulink's Motion to Dismiss with respect to Lone Star's claims that Compulink has directly infringed the '082 Patent and has induced others to infringe the patent.
