We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Loretta Fuddy, director of the Hawai'i State Department of Health.  Ms. Fuddy was a brave champion in the fight against tobacco and strongly supported initiatives to prevent kids from smoking and help smokers quit.  A recognized leader in public health, Loretta Fuddy leaves a legacy of better health and lives saved.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
