The Tunca family has been in the jewelry business for over 150 years, starting as goldsmiths in Turkey. In the 1970s, Naim Tunca immigrated to California and opened his first store in Santa Monica. The California store had a notable client base and was commissioned by Liberace and celebrity agents for the likes of Elton John and Madonna. In 2000, the family moved north to Spokane, Washington, and opened a store in the historic Garland District.
