"Fashion plays a crucial role in my work because it allows me to show insight into how we feel and who we want to be or portray on any given day." The painting "High Fashion Safari" deals with the notion of creating your own perfect utopia. What if you could literally re-fashion the world as you wanted it to look? "Snake Charmer" is about regaining our power, conquering our fears and ownership of ourselves as powerful sexual beings. The woman in the painting is no longer a victim and has suppressed her fears and used confidence and sexuality to seduce her captive. Swarovski Crystals were used to embellish many of the paintings in the collection. "I want the paintings to feel like pieces of expensive jewelry hanging on a wall, in which transforms them into luxury items themselves."

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Devin Crane's work is rapidly being sought out for many important private collections and commissions. For 15 years, Devin has been employed as a lead designer with the world's top film studios including DreamWorks Animation.
