With 20 years of experience in tax administration, Pickering has deep knowledge of the tax-filing process and how taxpayers can plan to get the tax outcome they want. She is currently the vice president of regulatory affairs at H&R Block and executive director of The Tax Institute. The Tax Institute, H&R Block's center of tax expertise, studies tax law changes so H&R Block can support its network of tax professionals, online tax preparation products and other tax prep services.
