Los Angeles Transportation Club Hosts Florida East Coast Railway President, James R. Hertwig

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 25, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Los Angeles Transportation Club (LATC) is pleased to announce that James Hertwig, President & CEO of the Florida East Coast Railway, will be speaking at its February  Executive Speaker Luncheon.   Mr. Hertwig headed the intermodal operations for eastern U.S. Class I railroad's CSX Intermodal since June 2004 and took the reins of the FEC after working at Landstar Logistics.

Florida East Coast Railway is a regional railroad that hauls a range of industrial products and commodities, and connects to five intermodal terminals. FEC also offers a portfolio of intermodal and drayage service between Atlanta and South Florida.   Its 351-mile system runs between Miami and Jacksonville, and holds exclusive rail access to the ports of Miami, Palm Beach and Port Everglades at Ft.
