
LOS ANGELES, Jan. 25, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Los Angeles Transportation Club (LATC) is pleased to announce that James Hertwig, President & CEO of the Florida East Coast Railway, will be speaking at its February Executive Speaker Luncheon. Mr. Hertwig headed the intermodal operations for eastern U.S. Class I railroad's CSX Intermodal since June 2004 and took the reins of the FEC after working at Landstar Logistics.

Florida East Coast Railway is a regional railroad that hauls a range of industrial products and commodities, and connects to five intermodal terminals. FEC also offers a portfolio of intermodal and drayage service between Atlanta and South Florida. Its 351-mile system runs between Miami and Jacksonville, and holds exclusive rail access to the ports of Miami, Palm Beach and Port Everglades at Ft. Lauderdale.
The LATC luncheon will take place on February 8th at Monterey Hill Banquet Center.
