Lotus F1 Team Joins iRise Executive Roundtable Series Program as Strategic Partner
iRise and Lotus F1 Team Agree to Co-Produce Executive Roundtable at the Formula 1 Grand Prix De Monaco
EL SEGUNDO, Calif., March 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- iRise®, the global leader in enterprise visualization software solutions, is proud to announce that Lotus F1 Team, a leading Formula 1 racing outfit, has signed on as a Strategic Partner for iRise's Executive Roundtable Series. iRise's next Executive Roundtable Series event, co-produced by Lotus F1 Team, will take place on Friday May 25th 2012 in Nice, France.
iRise founded its non-promotional Executive Roundtable Series in 2005 with a vision to deliver world-class content and networking to global CIOs, with the theme of global motorsports as a platform. More than fifteen IT leadership roundtables have been produced in the years since. As the Series' newest strategic partner, Lotus F1 Team will help educate top IT leaders on the role of technology and real-time analytics in Formula 1, along with the importance of team collaboration in winning World Championships.
On Friday May 25th, iRise and Lotus F1 Team will present keynote speakers from SAP, Facebook, Deutsche Bank, Diageo, B/S/H/ and Lotus F1 Team. The roundtable event will be followed on May 26-27 at the historic Formula 1 Grand Prix De Monaco event where the group of global CIOs will be invited to network with Lotus F1 Team.
Each iRise Executive Roundtable Series event is moderated by Ralph Szygenda, former global CIO of General Motors. Events are keynoted by six IT leaders and attended by forty global CIOs. Content is strictly non-selling and covers topics such as visualization, agile development, social and cloud computing, global sourcing, and IT security among others.
With the consumerization of IT trend that was set off by Apple, Google, Facebook and others, business users are demanding both elegant user experiences and accelerated software development from IT leaders. iRise's Executive Roundtable Series provides an excellent opportunity for CIOs to engage with their peers and discuss best practices around accelerated IT.
Eric Boullier, Team Principal, Lotus F1 Team: "We have been leveraging computer-aided design tools for years to simulate the design of our race cars and accelerate their manufacture. It makes perfect sense that iRise would empower our IT organization to do the same for software design and delivery, and we are very pleased to form a technical partnership with iRise."
"iRise is thrilled to be partnering with Lotus F1 Team, an organization with a rich history in winning Drivers' and Constructors' World Championships," said Emmet B. Keeffe III, CEO and co-founder at iRise. "We are particularly pleased to be supporting 2007 Formula 1 World Champion Kimi Raikkonen and 2011 GP2 Champion Romain Grosjean as they compete in Formula 1 for Lotus F1 Team. For global IT leaders, there are many lessons to be learned from Formula 1 that can be leveraged every day in the high speed world of business."
