Louisiana Woman Auctioning Lucrative Business to Chase True Love
FRANKLINTON, La., Sept. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- One of America's top-rated tattoo artists fell in love with river tubing and bought her local outfitter. After building it into a $225,000 per season company, Annette LaRue has fallen in love with a Pennsylvania man and is selling her business to move to Philadelphia.

LaRue isn't new to building businesses. The Washington, D.C. native has bought, grown, and sold tattoo parlors in Florida and Louisiana. She's been featured in GO!, AirTran's in-flight magazine, and in Complex as one of the "50 Tattoo Artists You Need to Know."
Passion for the unfettered life drives LaRue. LaRue loved tubing at Louisiana River Adventures so much, she bought the place back in 2012. An hour from both New Orleans and Baton Rouge, the tubing and kayaking outfitter has since served as many as 600 patrons a day. Now, a different passion has her ready to write a new life chapter.
LaRue is auctioning off her 2,000 square foot home, shop, and 2.25 acres on the Boque Chitto River along with all of Louisiana River Adventures' physical assets and intellectual property. Louisiana Outdoor Properties will be conducting the auction at the Franklinton, LA home on Saturday, October 10.
Barbara Bonnette, an international champion auctioneer, will be calling bids at the auction. She's excited to help another accomplished female entrepreneur chase her dreams. "Annette's business has really been a lifestyle. If you love being in the water and around people, this is a natural fit." Bonnette added, "It's probably like the tattoo business—and probably like whatever adventure awaits Annette in the Northeast."
