Love and Care Walk's Innovative Platform to Help Children from "High-Risk Deliveries through Higher Education."
NEW YORK, June 25, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- While helping a good cause out of responsibility or a sense of duty is certainly worthwhile, to do it out of a sense of "love" for humanity may be the kindest gift of all. That's the spirit that motivates the non-profit organization Love and Care, who has made it their goal to help provide health care and education opportunities to some of the most underprivileged communities. Recently, Love and Care announced they will be holding a 5K Charity Walk on July 16th in Liberty State Park, New Jersey to uphold and raise funds for an innovative and unique model that provides medical and educational care from a child's birth until they become self-sustaining members of the society. Anticipation surrounding the walk is high.
Saving Lives Today… Enriching Minds for Tomorrow
The Love and Care platform is unique because it not only serves to save the lives of children but also provides them a supportive infrastructure to hold their hands throughout their lives. Supporting children through Crawl, Stand, Walk, Run, and Fly stages, which save them during high-risk deliveries through a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, prevent long-term disabilities through an Early Intervention Center and help them walk through their Rehabilitation Center for the Physically Challenged. However, they don't stop at just building their physical and psychological health. The innovation of the Love and Care platform is that they hold the hands of children, providing them resources to educate and build careers which are useful in today's marketplace.

The Charity Walk will be a 5K or just over three mile walk or run, taking place with both the Statue of Liberty and the New York City skyline in the background. The event is expected to draw over 700 participants from all corners of society, sexes, ages and ethnic groups. They will come together to show their love and care for a very deserving cause.
People who would like to donate, but cannot attend are of course welcome too and their help is hugely appreciated. The charity allows donation to be targeted towards medical care, infrastructure development or wherever it is needed most depending on the donor's wishes.
