Lucas Oil Kicks Off Registration for 14th Annual Eric Medlen Memorial Golf Tournament on September 1, 2022

INDIANAPOLIS, May 11, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Lucas Oil Products, Inc., Registration is now open for the 14th Annual Lucas Oil Eric Medlen Memorial Golf Tournament scheduled Thursday, September 1, 2022 at the Eagle Creek Golf Course in Indianapolis. The registration period runs through August 29 and the tournament is open to both foursomes and single players. The annual golf tournament is held in honor of late NHRA Funny Car driver Eric Medlen and all funds raised from the charity event are donated to Peyton Manning Children's Hospital (PMCH) at Ascension St. Vincent.

The event kicks off at 8:30 AM with registration, breakfast, a putting contest, silent auction and team photos. Play begins at 9:30 AM with a shotgun start and wraps up with lunch, cocktails and awards. In addition to golf opportunities, there are also several sponsorship options available for companies and individuals to show their support to the tournament and children's hospital. This year's goal is to raise $150,000 and bring the total donations from the tournament to $1 million.

And thanks to generous patrons, donations have been used to fund new facilities like the St. Vincent House, a pediatric MRI Suite, a teaching classroom, and a state-of-the-art pediatric neurology unit.
