Luidia's eBeam Technology Used For New HP Pocket Whiteboard and HP Digital Sketch Wireless Tablet
New interactive HP products transform a flat surface into an interactive workspace, enhance delivery of information, capture and share input, and elevate student engagement and group collaboration
AUSTIN, Texas, Feb. 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Luidia, Inc., the global award-winning developer of eBeam® portable digital capture and display solutions, today announced that its eBeam technology is being used in the new HP Pocket Whiteboard and HP Digital Sketch Wireless Tablet.
Both products will be part of the HP Digital Learning Suite and will make their public debut at the Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA) Conference the week of February 7, 2011 in Austin, Texas.
The HP Pocket Whiteboard, when used with a projector, allows a user to transform a flat surface into an interactive workspace. Using the included interactive stylus pen, users can present, annotate and interact with the projected content, record meetings and lectures, and even share their work over the Internet.
The HP Digital Sketch allows a user, from a distance, to interact within the projected workspace – creating a collaborative working session. Included with both products will be HP Interact for Education and HP Workspace for Business.
"Luidia's eBeam solutions uniquely simplify what is a very complex problem and provide portable, scalable, easy-to-use solutions that work with existing classrooms, conference rooms or mobile communication infrastructure, making interactive collaboration easily available to students, small teams, and large enterprises," said Roy Erez, Luidia Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Business Development.
