Lunarline's Recovery Planning Course Waives the Experience Requirement for CCM Certification
ARLINGTON, Va., Sept. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Institute for Business Continuity Management (NIBCM) has approved Lunarline, Inc. to administer NIBCM's Certified Continuity Manager (CCM) certification exam in conjunction with Lunarline's Recovery Planning 5 Day Practitioner's Course. This approval waives the 2 year work experience requirement so those students of Lunarline's course who opt to take the exam and pass with a minimum grade of 70% are instantly CCM certified. Students can opt for either the private sector Business Continuity Planning (BCP) Exam or the Public Sector Continuity of Operations (COOP) Exam upon registration.
The CCM certification requires:
* Successful completion of a comprehensive BCP course and exam; or
* Two (2) years work experience in BCP/COOP Planning and successful completion of the exam.
"Our 5 day Recovery Training is a soup-to-nuts course of instruction for public and private sector recovery planners," said CEO of Lunarline, Waylon Krush. "We provide not only 'what you need' but the 'how to' for risk assessments; business impact analyses; recovery strategy analyses; developing recovery and COOP plans; designing and implementing viable emergency response capabilities; and designing and implementing training and exercise programs. NIBCM's approval for our Recovery Course adds another dimension to our Cyber Security training capabilities which already include six NSA-approved Information Assurance courses."
The NIBCM is the only independent certification body that serves solely to progress the careers of individuals working within the Business Continuity Planning and Continuity of Operations (COOP) Planning Fields. The NIBCM administers the only independent professional examinations in BCP.
