EMERYVILLE, Calif., Oct. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Lyris, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: LYRI), the online marketing expert, today announced the appointment of Jim Lovelady as senior vice president of sales. In his position, Lovelady will be responsible for leading sales and partner development for Lyris HQ, the company's world-class email marketing and online marketing solution. Mr. Lovelady will form part of Lyris' executive management team and report to Lyris CEO Wolfgang Maasberg.
Lovelady brings over 20 years of executive sales management experience to Lyris, with the past decade focused on email and digital marketing. His experience includes positions at online direct marketing and email marketing service providers Epsilon (Alliance Data Systems), Yesmail (infoGroup), and start-up Digital Impact (Acxiom).
Most recently, he was vice president of sales at marketing supply chain management company Production Services Associates. Prior, he was vice president of retail sales for Cellfire, a start-up digital mobile coupon and discount offer service provider where he created and closed dozens of new business opportunities with major brand-name customers.

Lovelady began his sales career in 1991, holding several sales leadership positions at General Electric, where he certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Cleary University and is a veteran of the United States Air Force.
