HALIFAX, Jan. 7, 2014 /CNW/ - Macdonald Chisholm Trask Insurance (MCT), one of Atlantic Canada's most respected insurance brokerages, announced today it will join BrokerLink, one of the largest Canadian property and casualty insurance brokerages. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

MCT, which specializes in personal, commercial, marine, special risks and program insurance, will continue to operate 18 community-based offices under its current name, said Pete Weightman, president of BrokerLink.
