MacPractice Makes Inventory and Time Clock Features Available

LINCOLN, Neb., Oct. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- MacPractice, the leading Apple developer of Mac OS and iOS native software for doctors for use on Apple computers, iPads and iPhones, announced Inventory and Time Clock feature additions to 64 Bit MacPractice 4.4. Inventory works with barcode readers and integrates with the practice's fee schedules and patient ledgers.

MacPractice will demonstrate Inventory, Time Clock and other new features and services in MacPractice 4.4 in Nuance's booth #1715 at MGMA in San Diego from October 6 to 8. MacPractice invites practices that are interested in Inventory and Time Clock to register at MacPractice.com to see demo videos and to attend a webinar on October 9 at 2PM CDT or October 16 at 1PM CDT.

Inventory tracks supplies and retail stock, as well as incoming sales and consumption, and it manages audits and reorders. Inventory can also work with a fee schedule in MacPractice to track stock on incidentally used items, such as items consumed in the performance of a procedure. Inventory can use a UPC or EAN barcode to find items with the Amazon API and to automatically populate the manufacturer's product information in MacPractice.

An introductory price of $500 (savings of $1000) is offered through November 18 to practices that purchase the Inventory Ability within MacPractice and attend one of several free training sessions. There is an additional $200 annual fee for Inventory support and updates.

Time Clock keeps track of employee hours, vacations and sick leave. The Time Clock is an added benefit of MacPractice 4.4 at no additional cost to new purchasers or to 30,000 current MacPractice users.
