Macsteel Service Centers USA Expands with New Facility in Lakeland, Florida

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., April 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Macsteel Service Centers USA expands its business operations in the Southeast with the opening of a new 60,000 square foot distribution center in Lakeland, Florida.

The Lakeland facility will service the state of Florida. The facility stocks a full range of ERW pipe in Grades A, B and seamless. Future plans call for the product line to include flat rolled products.

Clint Bitzer has been named Warehouse Supervisor at the new facility. Don Whalen, Sales Manager, Pipe Products for the Southeast Division of Macsteel, will manage sales in the Florida territory. In addition to Bitzer and Whalen, Macsteel has hired three employees to initially staff the Lakeland distribution center.

The Lakeland, Florida facility will operate as part of Macsteel's Southeast Division under the leadership of Robert Cromley, Division President.
