Madison Realty Capital Hires Dan Cobleigh as Managing Director, Design and Development

NEW YORK, July 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Madison Realty Capital (MRC), an institutionally backed real estate private equity firm focused on real estate equity and debt investments in the middle markets, announced the addition of veteran New York development professional Dan Cobleigh to its executive team.  Brian Shatz, Co-Founder and Managing Member of MRC, made the announcement.

Mr. Cobleigh will serve as Managing Director of Design and Development.  Working closely with MRC's principals, Mr. Cobleigh will help manage MRC's growing pipeline of development projects, assisting in the management of all phases of the development process.

Dan Cobleigh has over 25 years of experience and leadership in real estate development, design and construction industry.  Prior to joining MRC, Mr. Cobleigh spent the previous three years at Macklowe Properties in Manhattan as Director of Development for some of the highest end condominium projects ever constructed.  Other past roles include President and Director of Construction for Atlantic Development Group in Manhattan, Vice President and Project Executive at Boymelgreen Developers, and Design-Build Executive for HRH Construction.  During his tenure in those roles, Mr. Cobleigh has provided experienced leadership for over $4 billion of major real estate ventures.  Mr. Cobleigh graduated summa cum laude from New York Institute of Technology with an emphasis on Structural design and Construction Management from the Architecture program.
