Madison Street Capital Adds New Managing Director to Strengthen Its Growing Global M&A Division
Jim Cohen will advise clients on M&A and corporate finance transactions
CHICAGO, Sept. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Madison Street Capital announced today that Jim Cohen has joined the team as a Managing Director. The new appointment is the latest among the international investment banking firm's recruitment of top talent for managing director roles. Cohen will advise Madison Street Capital clients on M&A and corporate finance transactions.

Prior to joining Madison Street Capital, Cohen served as a Director for Sun Acquisitions where he led a team responsible for guiding clients through sell side and buy side transactions.
From 2001 to 2006, Cohen served as President and CEO of Velocity Products, LLC, a manufacturer and distributor of children's toys based in Wilmette, IL. During this time, he played an integral role in establishing and streamlining the global supply chain for Velocity that created an environment for the company to experience significant growth. Prior to Velocity, Mr. Cohen served in a variety of roles at Arrow Plastic Manufacturing Co., a manufacturer and distributor of plastic consumer products, owned by his family, where he was instrumental in guiding the company's growth both organically and through strategic acquisitions.
Cohen also served in the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary as an Assistant District Staff Officer-Operations, Coxswain, and Coast Guard Watchstander.
