Madison Williams Expands Energy Research Team: Andrew Coleman to Cover Exploration & Production Sector

NEW YORK, April 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Madison Williams and Company (www.madisonwilliams.com), an integrated capital markets and advisory firm, announced that Andrew Coleman will be joining the firm in early May as a Managing Director and Senior Exploration & Production Research Analyst.  Mr. Coleman will initially be based in the company's New York headquarters office, with plans to relocate to the Firm's energy-focused Houston office in the near future. With the addition of Mr. Coleman, Madison Williams has largely completed the build-out of its energy research team to include coverage of the MLP, Oilfield Services, E&P, and Clean Tech sectors, further strengthening the firm's industry leading position.

Andrew Coleman has significant experience covering exploration and production and oilfield service companies.  Prior to joining Madison Williams, Mr. Coleman was a director in the energy research group at UBS.  In Institutional Investor's 2008 All-America Research Survey, he was ranked for the Exploration & Production category and received honorable mention for Oilfield Services.  He has been a member of the National Association of Petroleum Investment Analysts (NAPIA) since 2004 and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) since 1993.  In addition to earning his MBA in finance and accounting, including a specialization in energy finance from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas, he holds a BS in petroleum engineering from the Harold Vance Department of Petroleum Engineering at Texas A&M University.  Andrew's industry experience spans petroleum and reservoir engineering, field operations, strategic planning, and business development for BP Exploration and Unocal.
