Maestro Dobel Named the Official Tequila of Lollapalooza 2013

CHICAGO, July 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Maestro Dobel Tequila today announced a series of promotions in coordination with the brand's sponsorship of Lollapalooza 2013. Lollapalooza creator and Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell serves as the brand's spokesman and will promote the luxury tequila throughout the festival. As the official tequila of Lollapalooza, Maestro Dobel will conduct social media promotions on Facebook and Instagram, emblazon Chicago with unique outdoor displays, host special events with Farrell, and distribute brand gift bags to every act performing at Lollapalooza. In anticipation of Lollapalooza, billboards in River North, Bucktown, and other Chicago neighborhoods will feature Farrell alongside Maestro Dobel's distinctive bottle. The brand will also route a double decker bus, complete with images of Farrell and Dobel, to loop between Grant Park and downtown Chicago. Farrell will gear up for Lollapalooza with a Dobel bottle signing on Thursday, August 1st. Fans aged 21 and older will have the opportunity to meet Farrell at Binny's (1132 S. Jefferson St. Chicago, IL 60607) from 4-6 p.m.

Maestro Dobel also offers ticketed festival goers a chance to win a VIP Pass upgrade via Instagram. Fans who tag photos with #LollaDobel on Friday, August 2nd and Saturday, August 3rd will be entered to win a VIP Pass for the following day. Maestro Dobel will select two winners each day. The winners will receive access to VIP areas, a complimentary Maestro Dobel tasting, golf cart shuttle transportation, Dobel cocktails (Dobelritas, Mexican Iced Tea and light Lolla Palomas) at two dedicated bars, and more.

Dobel will also sponsor the official Lollapalooza After Show, which will feature Dobel cocktails personally selected by Farrell in the venue's VIP area. Hosted by Farrell, the event will run from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturday, August 3rd at the Aragon Ballroom (tickets are required for this event).
