Magnolia Welcomes New Business Development Manager

SANTA ROSA, Calif., Aug. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Magnolia LTC Management Services Inc. (Magnolia) is pleased to announce that Chet Laws has joined the firm as business development manager. Mr. Laws began his insurance career at Fireman's Fund Insurance Company in 1985. He has been on the brokerage consulting side of the insurance industry for the past 13 years, spanning both the property and casualty and employee benefits arenas.

As a student of the insurance industry, Laws holds the following insurance designations: Certified Insurance Counselor, Certified Risk Manager and Associate in Risk Management. His role as business development manager at Magnolia is to work with the insurance brokerage and long-term care communities to market and grow the Continuing Care Risk Retention Group (CCRRG) client base, as well as business opportunities for Magnolia.

Magnolia is the program manager for CCRRG, which is a member-owned mutual insurance company providing professional and general liability insurance to long-term care facilities throughout the U.S. The staff of Magnolia has more than 100 years of experience as long-term care and insurance professionals. They understand the challenges of the industry and use their collective knowledge to reduce risk and liability for CCRRG and their insured member-owners. Magnolia performs policy underwriting and administration, risk management, claims administration, and regulatory reporting for CCRRG as well as other companies.
