Main Street Advocacy Announces Cleveland Women2Women Conversations Tour
"It's time for Washington to hear what the women of America have to say"
WASHINGTON, June 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Main Street Advocacy announced today that Cleveland has been selected as the next stop of the Women2Women Conversations Tour – a series of nationwide meetings designed to engage, motivate and provide a voice to female voters from all backgrounds and political affiliations. The Cleveland forum is one of five being held across the country this year to give women a greater voice in the political process – in Washington, DC and nationally.
Monday, June 22, 2015, the Cleveland forum will include two female members of Congress and Sarah Chamberlain, Main Street Advocacy's Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. The Women2Women Conversations Tours are designed to give women an outlet to talk about the issues that are important to them and learn about proposed legislation that could directly impact them.
The forum is sponsored by Main Street Advocacy (MSA) – a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization devoted to educating citizens about government and the political process. Chamberlain said, "As women, we have a voice – Main Street's Conversations Tour will connect female Members of the United States Congress directly to women across the nation. We encourage all women to come join the conversation so that we can take their messages and concerns back to Washington." The forum will discuss such topics as individual tax reform, healthcare, and our nation's economy.
The Cleveland forum is being held Monday evening, June 22 at the Holiday Inn Cleveland-Independence, 6001 Rockside Road, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Individuals interested in attending should RSVP at www.MainStreetAdvocacy.com/women.
