The Trummers have taken their unique Austrian cocktail design legacy and united their experimental pharmaceutical mixology to add a French twist at Maison Vivienne. Specialty items include the "Stoneground" a Japanese Tea with Matcha Tea, Japanese Whisky, topped with Hemp Milk and their signature house drink, "The Maison Vivienne," a whiskey cocktail infused with lavender elixir, lime, Bourbon Whisky, and egg white. If Jesus was born in a manger, then Jakob Trummer was born in a bar. Not exactly the truth, but not far from it. Born into a family with a history steeped in hospitality, (The Trummer family legacy in Austria that dates back over a hundred years), Jakob developed and honed his talent as a world-class mixologist at a very young age. About Albert Trummer
Albert Trummer, is an Austrian-born "apothéker" who has worked for David Bouley, the Chambers Hotel, Home Bar on Shelter Island, and 60 Thompson. Adding years of experience to his own evolving philosophy of the craft, Trummer eventually made it his mission to import obscure herbs and ingredients from Europe, collecting recipes from monks and monasteries to make his herbal remedies and infusions.
