Maldonado Medical Defies National Unemployment Rate with Consistent Hiring

PHOENIX, Aug. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Maldonado Medical, one of the most successful Durable Medical Equipment (DME) providers in the Southwestern United States, is withstanding the growing unemployment rate with an influx of new hires, growth opportunity, and employee retention.

According to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics (BLS), the national unemployment rate hovers at 7.4% resulting in over 11.5 million Americans defined as unemployed persons; and the Southwest standing at an average of 7.0% unemployment regionally. With statistics omitting some individuals considered "not in the labor force" the reported rate of 11.5 million could in fact be much higher, due to a possible demographic of unemployed individuals left unreported.
