Mallon and Associates Joins Forces With Draper and Kramer

WHEATON, Ill., Jan. 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Draper and Kramer Real Estate (DK RE) has joined forces with Mallon and Associates Inc. to form DKMallon.

DKMallon is a full-service retail real estate firm, involved in development, property management, leasing, consulting and asset management. The firm works with municipalities, owners, retailers and investors.  They are currently involved with 22 properties in Illinois totaling more than 1MM square feet in their portfolio.  Additionally, DKMallon represents ALDI, Hmart and Dunkin Donuts.

DKMallon will be led by Mike Mallon, who brings a diverse background and over 30 years of experience in the Chicagoland commercial real estate market.

Since 2005, Mike Mallon has been providing exceptional retail real estate services with his company Mallon and Associates Inc. Prior to founding Mallon and Associates, Mallon served as Vice President-Real Estate for the Midwest Region for American Stores (Jewel/Osco) and Safeway (Dominick's). He is also a former Vice President of Retail at Draper and Kramer and Director of Planning and Zoning for the Village of Lombard. Mallon is a certified SCSM and SCLS with the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and a CCIM with the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute. He is a graduate of Michigan State University and resides with his family in Wheaton, IL.

Kurt Warnke is the Real Estate Manager for DKMallon. Warnke is an experienced real estate professional qualified in all facets of real estate transactions, including landlord & tenant representation, development, project management, asset sales experience, including most recently as Transaction Manager at Jones Lang LaSalle and a Real Estate Manager/Financial Analyst for Safeway (Dominick's). Warnke currently serves as the Chairman of the City of Elmhurst Economic Development Commission and is a graduate of the University of Kansas.

Duncan Smith is property manager for DKMallon. Duncan has worked with Westfield and managed large regional malls in Australia and the US. He has also worked with Jones, Lang LaSalle and Lend Lease in Australia. Duncan is a graduate of Monash University.
