Malmgren Joins Bluemont Capital

MIDDLEBURG, Va., Feb. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Ambassador Harald Malmgren is the most recent addition to Bluemont Capital Advisors LLC, a firm dedicated to delivering services to private clients that are on a par with those received by CEO's and heads of state.

Founded by Carolyn Stys, to raise the standards of financial advisory services to individual investors, Bluemont Capital Advisors LLC continues building a highly experienced team.  

After teaching at Cornell, he was recruited to serve in the Kennedy administration.  Following the Kennedy assassination, he stayed on in both the Johnson and Ford administrations.

As Deputy U.S. Trade Representative in the early 1970's, Ambassador Malmgren helped draft the legislation that still gives the President of the United States "fast-track" negotiating authority for certain key international trade agreements.  He has provided advice and counsel for administrations of both parties, and senior executives in the private sector ever since.  

Highly honored and constantly in demand, he's served as a member of the advisory board of the Center for Strategic and International Studies, the G-7 Council, the Council on Foreign Relations Committee on the Future of the World Trading System, and as Chairman of the Board of the Cordell Hull Institute.
