Manchester United First Team Coach Trains New York City Teams for the First Time

NEW YORK, June 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Manchester United's First Team Coach, Rene Meulensteen, will coach in New York City for the first time ever, beginning Friday, June 22, 2012. Brought by Super Soccer Stars to train its teams, Coach Meulensteen will also work with coaches and players from the NYC soccer community.

Super Soccer Stars will host public and private events as part of their goal to provide access to Rene Meulensteen's wealth of experience. "Arranging Coach Meulensteen's visit goes hand-in-hand with our mission to raise the level of soccer played in our city," says Gustavo Szulansky, Founder and President of Super Soccer Stars. "Not only do we want to help elevate this city's soccer to the highest standards, but we also want to give back to the community that has made us the Tri-State's largest children's soccer program."

Never before have local players had the opportunity to learn from such a high-level coaching professional. Players will train with Coach Meulensteen, working on skill development, tactical game play and more. Coaches will receive exclusive on and off-field training, as part of the company's promise to bring the finest training to their coaches.

Super Soccer Stars Premier will host two public events:

• Youth Development Presentation - Rene will educate parents and coaches on unlocking a child's soccer potential and more. Sunday, June 24. 9:00 – 10:30am at The JCC in Manhattan, 334 Amsterdam Avenue.*
• U11-U14 Player Clinics – Any player, ages 11-14, may train with Rene Meulensteen. Sunday, June 24, 2012. 2:00 – 3:00pm at West 103rd Street & Riverside.*
