Marc Scott Takes Lead of LCS Constructors, Inc. - Texas Division

HOUSTON, July 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Marc Scott joined LCS Constructors, Inc. (LCS) in June where he will serve as Vice President/Division Manager for the Texas and Gulf Coast region operations. Marc brings over 30 years of experience to the team, including six years as LCS Texas' Vice President and Manager of Operations from 2001 – 2007. In his new capacity as Division Manager, Marc will oversee all aspects of consulting and construction operations, service and commissioning activities, safety and quality, as well as business development for the Texas and Gulf Coast region. Additionally, Marc will assume a position on the LCS Board of Directors.

Marc brings with him an extensive background in design-build project delivery, construction management and administrative experience within the health care, chemical, refining, specialty chemical, utilities and commercial construction industry segments.

Prior to rejoining LCS, Marc worked with The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center as a Principal Project Manager – and oversaw a project management team responsible for numerous construction projects throughout the greater Houston area. His other preceding experience includes management positions with Brookstone Corporation, SMC McEver, Inc. and CDI Engineering Group. This experience provides Marc with a strong background in estimating and bidding, contracts, field production, safety and cost control; as well as coordinating with owners and design and construction teams on scope, scheduling, field implementation and personnel supervision.

Marc is a graduate of the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. He is involved with various associations including Who's Who of Professional Management, Outstanding Young Men in America, and the Design Build Institute of America. Marc has also received the Associated General Contractor's APEX Award for Excellence in Construction.
