Maria Teresa Hilado Joins Bausch + Lomb Board of Directors
ROCHESTER, N.Y., May 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Bausch + Lomb, the global eye health company, today announced that Maria Teresa (Tessa) Hilado has been elected to its board of directors.

Ms. Hilado is currently senior vice president of finance and treasurer of PepsiCo, the $65 billion food and beverage giant. In this capacity, Ms. Hilado has global operating responsibility for PepsiCo's treasury organization, which includes capital markets, cash management, international treasury, pension investments, and insurance, as well as oversight of the company's global procurement finance team. She is also a member of PepsiCo's Capital Expenditures and Commodity Risk Management Committees, and chairs its Pension Investment Committee. Ms. Hilado also sits on the board of Pepsi Bottling Ventures, a joint venture between PepsiCo and Suntory.

Ms. Hilado has over 22 years of finance, treasury and strategic experience in large global public corporations across a variety of industries. Prior to joining PepsiCo in 2009, Hilado was vice president and treasurer at Schering-Plough Corporation from 2008 – 2009 where she had global operating responsibility for the company's treasury organization and served on the Pension Investment Committee. Previously, Hilado spent 17 years at General Motors (GM) Corporation where she held a variety of senior finance roles including assistant treasurer, general manager and chief financial officer, GMAC Commercial Finance. She also held a variety of positions in M&A, labor negotiations, and treasury.

Ms. Hilado holds a Bachelor of Science in management engineering from Ateneo de Manila University, Philippines, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Virginia, Darden Graduate School of Business.
