Mariner Hires Robert Woodard to Lead Growing Institutional Business
32-year industry veteran brings extensive institutional investment leadership to the firm
LEAWOOD, Kan., Oct. 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Mariner Institutional Consulting, a subsidiary of Mariner Holdings, today announced Robert Woodard, CFA, CAIA®, CLU®, ChFC® has joined the firm as managing director. Woodard will lead the firm's efforts in providing independent, tailored and expert advice to institutional clients across a broad range of critical areas, including governance, strategic asset allocation, portfolio implementation, monitoring and performance assessment.
An industry veteran with more than 32 years of experience, Woodard joins the firm from Emcor Securities, where he served as chief investment officer, principal and managing director. Prior to Emcor, Woodard was senior vice president at Metropolitan West Asset Management (now TCW) and chief investment officer for the Kansas Public Employees Retirement System.
