Marini's On 57 Kicked Off Formula One Weekend With Mr And Mrs Rampling In Kuala Lumpur
The original founder of UK's club scene celebrated Malaysia's Formula One weekend at Marini's on 57 for a one night only exclusive performance
KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, March 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Danny Rampling, widely considered to be one of the founders and leaders of the British club scene and former BBC Radio 1 and Kiss FM Broadcaster, and his wife Ilona Rampling performed at Marini's on 57's, Malaysia's highest rooftop bar, restaurant and lounge, at their annual Formula One (F1) Kick Off party yesterday, to celebrate the Malaysian Grand Prix.

Danny is a globally respected DJ who is known for his deep vocal house and garage sound for over 20 years. He has successfully produced over 40 remixes and has also played at various exclusive F1 parties across the world. In the late 80's, Danny created the blueprint for the United Kingdom (UK) rave scene and electronic music explosion. In December 2012, Danny hosted a special London Shoom event to celebrate his 25 years of Dance Music culture and was sold out in an hour.

Alongside with his American wife, Ilona, they formed Mr & Mrs Rampling in 2013. Ilona is the darling of the super hip East London Club scene and has been the in-house DJ for leading UK fashion designers Basso + Brooke for the London Fashion Week. Having recently joined forces as a DJ team with her husband, the couple continuously tour the world together, submitting radio shows, alongside recording albums and remixing tracks and this year, they will be the highlight of Marini's on 57's annual F1 Kick Off Party.
Mr and Mrs Rampling plays select highbrow DJing gigs at the world's hottest dance clubs, and whilst Marini's on 57 is not a full-fledged dance club, it is currently one of the best nightspots in Malaysia, having won the Hospitality Asia Platinum Award for Best Nightspot of the Year recently.

Modesto, known as the King of Italian Cuisine in Asia, graduated with high honours in culinary arts in Italy in 1986 after which, he spent two years working as a sous chef at a famous restaurant in Mayfair, London – a top Italian restaurant favoured by celebrities such as Sean Connery. He later spent four years in Singapore as a chef and opened two restaurants. He moved to Kuala Lumpur in 1995.
